Hazel E. Goode

Hazel E. Goode, 89, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 surrounded by her family.

Hazel was born September 6, 1925 in Havre, Montana to Earl and Bertha (Latimer) Butler. She is survived by her children, JoAnn Goode, John (Sheila) Goode and Nancy Goode; grandchildren, Jeff (Brianne), Amy (Travis), Alyssa, Luke and Chelsae; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie Springer and Lettie Lee; special cousin, Jean Morris; and a host of nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Goode, two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, also at the funeral home, with burial to follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola, Iowa.
