Dana Ann Carreon, 30, passed away November 7, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born April 10, 1984 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed in South Dakota. Dana graduated from Lincoln High School in May of 2002. She married Chris Carreon on May 13, 2006. They moved to Des Moines where Dana worked at Wells Fargo and part time at Sports Authority. She held various positions but most recently was a compliance consultant.
She enjoyed singing, playing games, and making memories with her family and friends. She was very creative and always added her personal touch to family celebrations to make her loved ones feel special.
Dana is survived by her husband, Chris Carreon; children, Zoey and Zachary Carreon; mother, Karen McCord; siblings, Darin Farley (Cindy), twin sister Danielle Farley, Nicole Matthies, and Josh Farley (Cindy); sister-in-law, Amber Blair; and nieces and nephews, Alexander, Liya, Mason, Isabella, Aidan, Landon, Gavin, Bryce, Brittany, Payton, Tyler, Ashley, and Lily.
She was preceded in death by her children, Zaylee and Zayna; father, Donald Farley; and grandparents, Gwendolyn and Lester Farley, Charles and Harriet Schellberg.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave in Des Moines. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Renner Lutheran Church, 47474 258th Street in Renner, South Dakota 57055 followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls. A visitation will be held in the evening on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Minnehaha Funeral Home, 180 St. Olaf Ave in Baltic, South Dakota 57003 – www.minnehahafuneralhome.com.

Dear Chris, Zoey, Karen,Danielle, Darin and Cindy, So sorry to hear about Dana and her twin daughters. I would of loved to attend the funeral but had previous commitments but you are all in my thoughts and prayers daily and especially during the upcoming Season. I was very happy that I was able to be a part of your lovely family while you lived in Sioux Falls. I have lots of fond memories

Dear Family:
I was deeply saddened by Dana's death. I worked with Dana for seveal years. She was loyal and hardworking. She was a friend to all and sincerely took a personal interest in everyone she worked with. She mentioned her children, husband and extended family often. It was evident her family was very important to her. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Only spoke with Dana on a few occasions here at work. She seemed very nice. I pray for your family at this time of loss and hope that you can find comfort in the cherished memories of her life and time with you.

I enjoyed working as your team lead with Wells Fargo. You were a supervisor who truly cared about people. Not just the ones on your team but anyone who needed to talk. You were kind and patient with many people. You loved your family and could never do enough for them. RIP my dear friend and love the babies that went before you and your Dad. God Bless your family.
