James Baker

James W. Baker, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He was born November 23, 1940 to James William, Sr. and Juanita Baker.

James was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. He worked at Mercy Hospital in Environmental Services for 40+ years upon retirement in 2010. James was an avid movie watcher and a VCR aficionado. He loved cooking and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Baker; honorary daughter, Toni Conner; son, Brian James Baker and girlfriend, Tina Rose Cotton. James was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes cremation is to occur with no formal services.
