Marilyn Proctor

Marilyn Elaine Proctor, 73, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at her home in Des Moines.

Marilyn was born July 7, 1941 to Clyde and Bertha Jensen. She had many unique talents and enjoyed playing the accordion and baton twirling. She is survived by her daughters, Rita Seskis (Erik), Ranae Benshoof (Richard) and Roxanne Proctor-Toomey (Dan); twenty grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; mother, Bertha Jensen; sisters, Nadine Scadden (Melvin) and Joyce Keating (Gary); several nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Tender and Precious. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Warner; father, Clyde Jensen; sons-in-law, Mike Benshoof and Kenny Crispin; niece, Melissa Scadden; and nephew Brian Scadden.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Family will begin greeting friends at 9:00 a.m. with funeral service to start at 11:00 a.m. An interment ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, November 10 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.
