Just learned of Ruth's passing and now know why she's been on my mind so much these past few weeks. Through the years we've lost touch but never in our hearts. If she wasn't your mother, she was your grandma to everyone she met. What a wonderful roll model you children had. Casey adored her and she was the go to for a word of advice for Kevin. For me...she gently loved and directed me, always knowing how to point me in the right direction. This may not make sense to you but just know we loved her and will cherish her memory. I have pictures some of you might like to have a copy of....please feel free to email me - threadsetc@msn.com.

I'm blessed that Ruth was a part of the family of Sunshine Open Bible Church. She was a ray of sunshine to us, and all she came into contact with. We loved her very much, and miss her love of the Lord, her wit, her joy, her smile, and her words of wisdom.

I'm grateful to Grandma and family for allowing me to be a part of the family when I was a child. She took great care of me when my own family didn't and she taught me the dynamics of what a family should be. I'm sad that so many tomorrows happened between the last time I saw her and now. I think of her often and I'm grateful she is a piece of who I am today and who I will become.
