Virginia Gilbert

Virginia Gilbert, 83, of Lumberton, Texas died on Sunday, September 9, 2007. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5-7:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born in Des Moines and had been a resident of Lumberton, Texas for the past 16 years.
She is survived by her children Judy Stratton of Des Moines, Karen Nosbisch of Mitchellville, Iowa, Keith Gilbert of Tampa, Florida and Joyce Howell of Lumberton, Texas, her 16 grandchildren, her 25 great grandchildren, her sisters, Carol Ferris of Des Moines and Bev Brown of Livingston, Texas as well as her brother Howard Smith of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Gilbert.
