I have much to be thankful for. I was one of the lucky ones; given a Dad who was loving, protective, big hearted and fun. I knew his love was unconditional and he was always there when I needed him. He provided a childhood that was secure and special. We loved him more than he could have known and will miss him more than he could have imagined.

John taught me to fish and to hunt and shoot a gun correctly and also to cuss and get in trouble. I'll always be glad he was my uncle.
