Margaret McReynolds

Margaret A. McReynolds (Peggy) of Des Moines, suffering from Alzheimer’s, passed on to be with the Lord September 8, 2007. Margaret was born in Dallas Center, Iowa on June 22, 1938. She was united in marriage to Clyde (Dan) in 1959. Together they had three children.
Margaret enjoyed square dancing and bowling, watching baseball, football, and basketball.
Survivors include her husband Clyde; daughters Diana (Kevin) Hamrick, Candace Shepherd (Chad Wolfe); son Daniel McReynolds (Elly Mae Maxom); two grandchildren, all from Des Moines; three step-grandchildren of Norwalk; one sister Marjorie Pinegar of Altoona; and nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents John and Vivian Phipps and a sister.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Peace Lutheran Church, 5615 S.W. 14th St., with burial at Resthaven Cemetery, 801 19th St., West Des Moines, Iowa.
