Margaret "Jane" Simpson

Margaret Jane Simpson, 75, was born February 20, 1939 in Seymour, Iowa, the daughter of Vernon and Thelma (Magers) Cain. She passed away unexpectedly at her home Sunday, October 12, 2014.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Keith Simpson; son, Brian (Robin) Simpson; grandchildren, Megan (Colton) Smith, Morgan Hobbs, Michael Carpenter and Aaron Lang; four great-grandsons; sister-in-law, Phyllis Cain; many nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Owen Cain.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the March of Dimes in loving memory of Margaret.
