John Wayne See, 54, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Sunday, October 12, 2014.
John was born November 27, 1959 to Robert W. and Phyllis See in Des Moines, Iowa.
He enjoyed throwing darts and riding motorcycles. John loved working on cars and was a lifetime mechanic.
John is survived by his parents; wife, Laura; children, Crystal See and Robert J. See; granddaughters, Shania Martin, Ayla See and Brielya See; best friend, Paul Stover, Jr.; and dog, Cain. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Louise See.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, also at the funeral home, with burial at Rising Sun Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Unity Point Hospice.
