Randall "Randy" Prymek

Randy Prymek, 36, passed away following a lengthy illness on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston with his loving family beside him.

Randy was born February 15, 1978 in Des Moines to Randy and Debbie (Sorter) Prymek. He graduated from Bradshaw Mountain High School in Prescott Valley, AZ. and later attended Yavapai College. Randy enjoyed camping in the mountains of Arizona. He loved fishing, music, movies and customizing cars and trucks. He loved and adored his family and especially his son, Caleb.

Randy is survived by his son, Caleb; father, Randy; brother, Kelly (Lori); mother of his son, Kelly Deal; grandparents, Ron and Pat Prymek and Betty Sorter; nephews, Mason “Frank” and Blake; his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie and his grandfather, Raymond Sorter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road followed by burial at Linn Grove Cemetery in Norwalk, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Caleb Prymek Education Fund, P.O. Box 35842, Des Moines, IA. 50315.
