Jean Robinson, 68, was born June 13, 1946, to Teddie and Ruby Cooklin in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She passed away on October 7, 2014.
Jean worked as a typist for First American Abstract for many years. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her husband of 40 years, James; son, Joseph (Kimberly) Robinson; and four grandchildren, Alexandra, Xavier, Jazmyn, and Joey.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014, at Hamilton’s Mitchellville Funeral Home, 303 Center Avenue S in Mitchellville, with burial at Powers Warren Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Jean.

It's been almost a week now and it's still so hard to accept that she is actually gone. She was so supportive of me through the years that there is absolutely no way to do her memory justice. There is a hole in my heart now that will be there forever. There are so many memories, especially the road trip we took to California and Texas after I graduated high school. During that 3 weeks I really got to know my sister and appreciate her even more...I will cherish that trip forever and my love for her will continue to live on...

Loosing someone like Jean is like loosing a sibling. I am so heartbroken over her death. She was so full of fun and life. Her family and grandchildren were like a pot of gold to her.
She made going to work worth it. We still talk about "no one better get between Jean and her coffee machine".
I thank God I have such wonderful memories of her. My prayers to all of her family. She will be the whisper in the wind for all of you. May God's blessings keep you all strong. May she always rest in peace!!

Jim, Joe and all the family- I am so heartbroken for all of you. Jean was such a wonderful friend, wife, mother, and grandmother. I will miss her sense of humor and all her stories about her grandkids and family. She loved you all so much. I hope you feel her still with you always
