We know it's never easy
to lose the ones we love
the tears don't come in less amounts
the sun still shines above
We still have to carry on
tho' our burden is heavy in heart
the ones that are left behind
must grieve and then restart
Restart to find that inner peace
we used to take for granted
we will now share our memories
of the loved ones now departed
And may each memory that you share
make your burden even lighter
and may the strengh of others
help make your days turn brighter
Although it's never easy
to lose the ones we love
we have to look toward Heaven
and thank the Lord above
Thank Him for the time he gave
for us to share each and everyway
Remember Dennis and say a prayer
We will all be together again oneday.
And when that time is upon us
may others remember this poem
hug each other - kiss your kids
and Thank God for sharing His Home
with love - jean

I am the Grandson Of Edgar and Hannah Petersen and am always saddened at the passing of one of our family members. I am especially saddened by the passing of of Dennis as he and I are the same age and his passing really brings to focus how precious life really is and that we really should be thankful for what God gives us every day for we live in His time not ours. I am truly sorry for your loss and wish I could be there in body for I will be there with you in spirit as you send Dennis Home to be with God. May God Bless you and your family in this time of your loss and give you comfort and strength. God Bless you all, Glenn and Family.

Dear Hays family,
We grieve with you over your loss. Dennis was so positive through his transplant in 2004 when Brian and I met him and such and an inspiration to us. And it was a joy to see him again when he came to Dallas in April 2006. He was very proud of you all, spoke about you all the time, and showed us your pictures on his laptop. It was obvious that his family meant everything to him. He loved and appreciated Denise and he set an excellent example of what a good husband and father is.
You feel his loss but one day you will be reunited with him for eternity, we have God's promise of this. Our Shepherd leads us and carries us.
Much love and prayers,
Patti, Brian and girls
