Darlene Leone Hall

Darlene Leone Hall, 80, of Sun City, AZ passed away at her home on October 6, 2014 of cancer. She was born in South Shore, SD on September 23, 1934 to Neola and Everett Bickel. She graduated in 1952 from East High School in Des Moines, IA. Darlene retired as a Clerical Supervisor for the Iowa Department of Human Services after 23 years. She moved to Sun City, AZ 9 years ago.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with visitation on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. and the funeral service on Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Orilla, IA.

Darlene is survived by her siblings, Jack (Veronica), LaVonne, Gail (Ralph), Jerry (Joyce), Jay (Linda), Karen (Keith), Marvin (Jan), Marilyn (Warren) and Vicki (Gari); 2 sons, Wayne (Jolene), and John (Susie); a daughter, Annette (Darrell); 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, and a son, David.
