Cynde Myers

Cynde Anne (Harker) Myers was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 25th, 1956 to Patricia Barnes. She came into this world on a beautiful sunny day with a free spirit and loving, loyal heart.

She was active in sports; enjoyed canoeing, playing softball, volleyball, shooting pool, darts and bowling. She loved to dance and listen to music.

She married her first love (Robert Myers, Jr.) in 1971, and became a widow in 1977. She found love again (Gaylord Lloyd) in 1980 and was widowed again in July of this year.

She loved her family, her children, grandchildren and mother. They came first to her, and she was proud of each and every one of them.

She leaves behind to remember her, mother, Patricia Barnes; stepdad, Jerry Barnes; children, Mynde (Mike) Auch and Scott (Alisia) Myers; grandchildren, Jarrett, Cheyanne, Michael, Chris, Jeremy Auch, Mark, Nicole and Alex Lester; and many family and friends.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Visitation at 11:00 a.m. with funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m.

Donations may be made to Hamilton’s in lieu of flowers.
