Jerry Lee Carico

Jerry Lee Carico, 76, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, Iowa.

Jerry was born June 26, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Maxine (Fees) Carico. He was a lifelong Des Moines resident, worked as a machinist for EFCO, and served his country in the U.S. Army.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Tina (Jerry) Gering, Sheri (Dan) Phipps, Robert (Jill) Carico, and Jennifer (Daniel) Cisneros; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 and memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Private family inurnment will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date.
