Joe “Country Joe” Henderson, 64, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 after a long illness at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. He was born on October 9, 1949 in Paris, Tennessee.
Joe loved hunting, fishing and NASCAR.
He is survived by his fiancee, Paula Patrick; her children, Joe (Stevie) Patrick and Chance (Danielle) Patrick; and his beloved dogs, Josie May and Zoe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary Henderson.
Cremation has taken place per Joe’s wishes.

We will miss seeing Billie at the office of Dr Hill. He was such a wonderful guy, even when he was not feeling well he would great me with a smile and a hello Kim. It was a pleasure to get to know him. May you find peace in knowing that he is free of pain and whole again.
