Veva Hazher

Veva L. Hazher, 91, died at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston on Thursday, September 6, 2007. Funeral services will be held at the mausoleum in Resthaven Cemetery on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service time.
Veva was born in Des Moines on May 20, 1916, the daughter of Charles and Rena Forbes. She graduated from Des Moines East High School in the class of 1935. Veva married Bernard Hazher on the 23rd day of November 1955. She retired as a long time employee of the Iowa Des Moines National Bank.
Veva is survived by her nephews, Larry (Barb) and Kent (Karen) Forbes all of Lorimor, Iowa; niece, Janet Forbes Gustafson (Norm) of Pleasant Hill; cousin, Margaret (Wally) Reed of Ankeny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First
Federated Church or Bishop Drumm's Alzheimer's Unit.
Hamilton's Funeral Home has been entrusted with Veva's care.
