Glenn E. Wicker (Baldy)

Glenn E. Wicker (Baldy) 77, of Pleasant Hill died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street with burial in Rising Sun Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Glenn was born in Runnells to Roy and Rose Wicker. Glenn retired from R.R. Donnelly Publishing Company after 40 years of service and was owner of Wick’s Bike Shop. He was a 30 year volunteer fireman for Pleasant Hill and also a Boy Scout leader for 31 years. Glenn served on several city boards for the city of Pleasant Hill and was a member of the American Legion in Runnells.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Crystal; two daughters, Vicki Wicker and Linda (Robert) Rehms; two sons, David and Jim; four grandchildren; four sisters, Lenore Cummings, Shirley Lenan, Carolene Hickcox and Mina Blood; and numerous friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
Memorial contributions may be given to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Boy Scouts of America.
