Walter Ellsworth
September 05, 2014
Walter Ellsworth, 74, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014.
Graveside Service will be held, 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Berwick Cemetery.
Walter was born August 30, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Floyd and Anna (Warywoda) Ellsworth. He was a veteran of the US Army and is survived by his wife Linda (the love of his life for 50 years), sons Michael and Joseph, daughter Melissa, two brothers, grandchildren Quinton, Logan, Christopher, Dakota, Colton and Gracie, many nephews and nieces, and very special niece Vicki who helped him through to the end.
Walter loved being outside doing his yardwork and taking care of his livestock on his farm. This summer, his grandson Christopher was there with Papa every day to help him and Papa enjoyed and appreciated everything Christopher did for him. Quinton, his oldest grandson, came over and shaved him and helped give him his bath. Dakota and Logan helped do some mowing for their Papa.

You will be missed Wally! I will never forget the days of watching game shows and spoiling the dogs with you. Trixy is forever grateful to you in giving her and her puppies life! You and Mama encouraged me to go out on my own with my business and leave the corporate world, and were there for me when I'd get down on myself. I am grateful to have gotten to know you. RIP Wallyburger. Love, Jill
