In Cha Valentine

In Cha Valentine was born September 9, 1948. She enjoyed gardening and long walks, drawing strength and solace from nature. In Cha lived honestly. She gave the most of herself every day and expected others to do the same. She enjoyed karaoke, cooking, and one of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her grandchildren.

In Cha was an extremely strong and centered woman, both mentally and physically. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, she went peacefully to her final rest on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving and supportive family.

Left to honor her memory are her husband of 45 years Albert, sons Tony (Sybil), David (Ginny) and Donovan (Torie), grandchildren Kaitlin, Lexie, Lilly Ann, Olivia, Jake and Sealy, sister In Shim Kim, and many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. In Cha was preceded in death by sister In Sook.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, also at the funeral home.
