Pauline I. Jones, 92 passed on August 31, 2014 at Fleur Heights Care Center where she resided for the past 18 years due to complications of ALS. In 1940 she married Donald R. Jones and gave birth to four daughters. She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Norma (Chuck) Buchanan, JoAnn (Barry) Hesse, and Barb Presti; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Rosemary Sawhill; grandsons, Gary David Eilbert and Paul Buchanan; and her son-in-law, Ray Presti.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Fleur Drive in Des Moines. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fleur Heights Wellness and Rehab Activity Center. Online Condolences may be Hamiltonsfuneralhome.com.

Pauline was a sweet lady and when I brought my dog (Bubba) up to see my mom at Fleur Heights, Pauline loved to pet him. Other residents would say "Pauline here comes Bubba!" and Bubba brought a smile to her face! Bubba made sure he stopped by her table as she would always feed him some of her meal. Pauline will be missed.
