Stephanie Elizabeth Sexton

Stephanie Elizabeth Sexton, 43, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born on September 4, 1970 in Tulsa, OK to Jon and Norma Jean.

She is survived by her children, Windsor Ryan Buchanan, Christian Anthony Witter, Adam Lee Buchanan and Ashley Jo Buchanan; granddaughter, Zaliya Bella Buchanan; daughter-in-law, Alyssa Walker; father, Jon Sexton; mother, Jean Dougherty-Kinney; step-father, Thomas Doughtery; siblings, Leslie Brooke Dougherty – Sexton, Bradley Paul Doughtery –Sexton, Kristy Noel Dougherty-Sexton, T – Michael Patrick Dougherty, Bridgette Michelle Doughtery, Devin Thomas Dougherty and Ryan Timothy Doughtery.

Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines with visitation from 5 – 8 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
