Candice Caye Logsdon, 42, died Monday, September 1, 2014.
Candice was born March 26, 1972 in Des Moines, Iowa to William and Debora (Lovell) Brown. She enjoyed playing softball, Karoke and dancing. Candice worked as a beautician and loved doing hair.
She is survived by her daughters Betsy Shipley and Shelby Shipley, parents Bill and Deb Brown, sister Jennifer Spurgeon, grandparents Jerry and Babe Lovell, and a host of other family and beloved friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Melbourne Recreation Center, 613 Main St, Melbourne, IA.

Candy was one of my oldest and dearest friends. Somehow or another, we always kept in touch throughout the years. I will miss hearing her laugh, seeing her smile, and just generally her ever-present positive,attitude.

I am Jades Grandmother and have loved Candy for years now. She was like a second mother to my granddaughter when she had no one. Last time I spoke with Candy was on Mothers Day this year.....may Angels surround you Candy you are LOVED & MISSED!!!
