Alan L. Prince "Al"

Alan Lester Prince, 66, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014.
Alan was born November 17, 1947. He was an electrical contractor, a member of IBEW Local 347, and owned American Service and Installation for the past 30 years. He served his country and was an Army veteran. He enjoyed trap shooting, classic cars, and blackjack in addition to being an avid animal lover.
He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Amanda Prince (husband Levi Watkin), daughter Jennifer Miller (husband Jim) and their children Cody Miller and Colten Miller, sisters Janet Bolton (husband Bill) and Sally Prince, and a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine, father Howard, and brother David.
There will be a public visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will take place at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Alan was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veteran’s Administration.

I am sorry to to here that Allen Prince has passed away. He was an outstanding contractor and electrician. I worked with Al and Tim on several projects around Des Moines and Webster City. Al's personal touch and work ethic was the best in the business. He will be missed by all who knew him.
