Wilma Cozad

Wilma Cozad, 97, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014. She was born February 4, 1917 to Lester and Effie Morris in Milo, Iowa.

Wilma was a member of Staves United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and a past member of the East Des Moines Garden Club. She retired as receptionist for the state of Iowa Visitors Center.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Cozad; and son, Gary Cozad; siblings, Ivyl Morris, Leonard Morris, and Helen Weeks.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Burial will be held at Glendale Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to Staves United Methodist Church in loving memory of Wilma.
