Ronald D. Cronin

Ronald Dee Cronin, 63, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 as a result of COPD, which he had suffered from for many years. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda (Keasey) Cronin. They were married on Valentine’s Day in 1971. Also surviving him are his sons, Harold (Tommi) Cronin, Jason Cronin, and Ryan Cronin; ten grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Connie) Cronin; sister, Pearl (Dominic) Marinaro; nieces and nephews; his dog, Michelle; and a host of other beloved family and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger Cronin.
Ronald was born May 5, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa to Harry and Loretta (Canady) Cronin. He served in the Marine Corps, owned and operated Cronin’s Auto Repair, and retired from Firestone. Ronald was a member of the Steel Workers Union. He was an excellent mechanic and could fix anything. Ronald was always willing to lend a helping hand to people. He enjoyed playing Pitch with his friends and loved his dog, Michelle.
Ronald’s family will celebrate his life and mourn his passing privately.

I am so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was a wonderful man. Always very kind to me. Linda,you and Ron were there for my mother during some hard years. My condolences go out to you and the family. My thoughts and love are with you all. RIP Ron.

My condolences and prayers go out to Ron's family. I worked many years with Ron at Firestone and always looked up to him for his mechanical knowledge and friendship . He will always be remembered.
