What a pleasure it was to work side by side with a man who cared so much about his students. I picture him with that sideways grin of his, a glint of mischief in his eye with a slight nod of his head.... oh and that chuckle, when he got going it was hard for him to stop, and it always ended with him shaking his head sideways. When he shook his finger you knew you needed to be listening. I just know he is using his charm, wit and winning ways with all the angels in heaven.

Mr Moberly was a wonderful man and truly cared for his students. His class always felt safe and he made learning fun. One thing that occasionally pops into my head even 23 years later is one time he was teaching about cause and effect. He gave the example of "when it is sunny, I am happy". Then he looked out the window, saw the sun, looked back at us and then proceeded to get this huge smile on his face and then did a little tap dance to show how happy the sun made him. It made even the most resistant students laugh. I still think about that and laugh. RIP Mr. Moberly. You were the best.

I had Mr. Moberly for math and he lived down the street from us while growing up. He was a very nice man. I remember him always out working in his yard. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.

When I attended North High School, I always saw Mr. Moberly around. He always made me smile and was a kind kind person. He would always be reading a book and brought joy into each classroom he visited. He is a great person and will be missed. My love goes out to his family. Stay strong and remember and cherish all that he taught you in life.

When I attended North, Mr. Moberly would often serve as a substitute in my math classes. His enthusiasm, even in retirement, was contagious. He was so supportive and showed us various ways to do a problem. I hated math but loved it wen he was our sub. That level of enthusiasm is something I've tried matching in my time as an educator.

Mr. Moberly got me through Algebra at Franklin Junior High, many, many years ago. He looked through the fears and tears and knew I could do the work. I will never forget him.

He was sub for DMPS 2002-2009 my middle and high school years. The BEST sub ever! made class fun with his magic tricks and all he knew was how to make everyone stay engaged in class. Very well appreciated in NHS, when you come In and just see him you just knew everything was going to be great in class, even in the hallways he would stop just to acknowledge you and make your day, RIP Mr. Moberly and thoughts and prayers for the family.
