Jacqueline "Jackie" Lose

Jacqueline Marie Lose, 53, was born on April 18, 1961 to Mary and Edward Lose in Des Moines, Iowa. She passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 in Henderson, Nevada after a long illness.
Jackie was a special education teacher for the Clark County (Nevada) School District. She served as a Special Olympics coach for many years. She attended Christ the King Elementary School and Dowling High School. Jackie was a graduate of the University of Iowa and held a master’s degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Jackie is survived by her parents; sisters, Mary Lose, Maureen (James) Wormuth and Jane (Patrick) Messerly; brothers, Edward Jr., David, John, James and Mark Lose; thirteen beloved nieces and nephews; four great- nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th Street followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Cumming, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with a Rosary to begin at 5:30 p.m.
**Please note the construction on SW 9th Street, there is still access to the funeral home from Kenyon off of SW 14th St. and SW 9th Street if you are coming from the north. There is additional parking available in the north grassy lots off of Kenyon.
