Patricia Ann Johnson Stewart

Patti Stewart, 48, was born April 8, 1966, to Lawrence Johnson and Patricia Williams in Des Moines, Iowa. She passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines on August 7, 2014.

Patti attended East High School in Des Moines and was a homemaker for most of her life. She worked part-time at Walmart, Dollar General, and the Recycling Center. Patti enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.

Patti is survived by her husband of 30 years, Chris Stewart; three sons, Mike, Tom, and Jason; grandchildren, Zachary, Jack, Connor, and Logan; mother, Pat Porter; brothers, Jon Johnson and Edwin Johnson; mother-in-law, Ruth Stewart; as well as a host of other family and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Verne Johnson; sister, Peggy Kern, and father-in-law, Dennis Stewart.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with visitation to begin at 1:00 p.m.
