Frederick Pinegar

Frederick Leroy Pinegar, 79, was born August 26, 1934 in Valley Junction, Iowa and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Sunday, August 3, 2014 at his home.

Fred is survived by his children, Fred (Shawn) Pinegar II of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Michelle (Tim) Harrell of Rock Falls, Illinois and Michael Pinegar of Colfax, Iowa; grandchildren, Michaela Tomlinson, Cameren Tomlinson, Sydney Harrell, Timothy Harrell II and Jakob Harrell; siblings, Lula (Paul) Crispen of Des Moines, Iowa and Robert Pinegar of San Diego, California; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern, May and Herbert Pinegar; siblings, Helen Biegger, Virgil Pinegar and Evelyn Millard all of Des Moines, and Maxine Wissler of Pine City, Minnesota.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
