Mary Ann Bellville

Mary Bellville, 82, was born November 5, 1931, in Ankeny, Iowa to Matthew and Rose Sanger. She passed away at her home in Ankeny on July 31, 2014.

Mary worked for the Federal Government and retired as a clerk for the USDA. She was a member of the Catholic Church, the Vittoria Lodge, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed flower gardening, shopping, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Jill Kimm) Bellville and Anne (Bill) Beals; grandsons, Matthew (Melissa) Beals and Jacob (Rachelle) Beals; great-grandchildren, Mathias, Matijs, Dane, and Reis; brother, Guido (Dorothy) Sanger; and her loving dog, Buster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Bellville; son, Roger Bellville; and her brother, Jimmy Sanger.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Mary.
