Bradley Kiester

Bradley Paul Kiester, 22, died Sunday, November 19, 2006. The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Altoona.
Bradley was born December 23, 1983 in Des Moines, Iowa to Mark and Karen Kiester. He graduated from Southeast Polk High School where he was an outstanding athlete in many sports, including football and basketball where he still holds some school records. He was currently attending Grandview College.
Brad loved to travel with some of his destinations being Europe, Australia, Mexico, and fishing in Canada with his Grandpa Jim. He loved golfing with his Grandpa Jim; all sports, especially football and basketball, being with family, and was always a great friend. He was a quiet, kind and compassionate young man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Bradley is survived by his mother and father, Mark and Karen Kiester; his brothers: Brian, Brett and his wife Jessica, and Bryce; his sister Katelyn; his grandparents Jim and June Anderson; his aunts and uncles: Jeri and Al Hill, Mike and Laura Anderson, Mike and Mary Kiester, and Minhon Adair; his longtime girlfriend Ashley Tate; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Betty Anderson, and Don & Moana Kiester.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Cross. Memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Polk High School or The Lutheran Church of the Cross.
