Fannie Theresa Lamendola

Fannie Theresa (Loffredo) Lamendola was born February 23, 1912 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Nicholas and Carmella (Compiano) Loffredo. She was a lifelong resident of the south Des Moines area. Fannie passed away at age 102, Tuesday, July 22, 2014 surrounded by her family at University Park Nursing and Rehab in Des Moines.

She is survived by her daughter, Patty Carpino and her husband, Jerry of California, and brother, A.J. Loffredo of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Angela Carpino Fraser, Pete (Cindy) Carpino, and Michael (Noel) Carpino; and six great-grandchildren, Tricia, Matthew, Deven, Sydney, and Sophia Carpino and Kayla Fraser. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Ross Carpino.

Services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th St, Des Moines on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Family will begin greeting friends at 9:30 followed by Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:00 a.m. Fannie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Ross at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
