Jane P. Myers

Jane P. Myers, 85, died Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Mercy Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, with visitation one hour prior. A private family burial will be at Webb Cemetery in Spring Hill, Iowa at a later date.
Jane was born January 24, 1922 in Knoxville, TN to Georgia and Lark Pedigo. She worked at the Knoxville Utilities Board for 30 years before moving to the Des Moines area in 1992. She was a member of the Des Moines Women’s Club, and attended mass regularly at the McAuley Terrace Chapel at Bishop Drumm.
Jane is survived by her step-children, LaMar (Priscilla) Myers of Urbandale and Jonnie (Bob) Seery of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Larken “Bud” Pedigo of Dothan, AL; nephew, Dr. Randall Pedigo of Knoxville, TN; niece, Dr. Saunook Pedigo of Sweetwater, TN; 6 step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivyl L. Myers.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Ministries, or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
