Rachel E. Hearn

Rachel Etta Hearn, 86, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her home in Des Moines.

Rachel was born November 28, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa to Frederick and Mary (Trevillian) Mote. She is survived by her children, David Hearn (Sharon), Deborah Miller (Robert), and Robert Hearn III and seven grandchildren, uncles, Hubert Mote, and Gilbert (Audrey) Mote.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hearn Jr. and four siblings.

Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Private family burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 18.
