Robert “Bob” Voshell, 84, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014.
The family will greet friends Monday, July 14, 2014, beginning at 12:30 p.m. with the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Southtown Pentecostal Assembly, 510 E. Rose Ave. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Bob was born August 12, 1929 in Des Moines to Clifton and Irene Voshell. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Bob was a dedicated restaurant manager for over 35 years at Moran’s Cafeteria. He and his late wife Dee traveled the country teaching dance, camping and making friends from shore to shore. Bob enjoyed pitching horseshoes with his friends.
Bob is survived by his sons, Terry (Joan), Rick and Mike (Carla); grandchildren, Shane, Melissa (Ross), Burgess and Madison; great-grandchild, Aurora; brothers, LeRoy (Barb) and David (Linda) and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 58 years, Dee.

We remember Bob and Dee from square and round dancing. Will miss them both. Jean grew up on south side and remember Leroy and Bob then. Jeans Mom worked with Irene. Our thoughts to all family.

Sorry to hear of bob's passing,he will be missed,I enjoyed seeing Bob at the jam sessions at Big Valley Trailer Park in Donns,Texas.

We are so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Bob & Dee were special friends of ours for many years, round and square dancing, camping and visiting with us. They were always very supportive and remained constant friends even though we moved from Iowa to Wisconsin. Bob will be greatly missed by us!
