Regina McCoy, 82, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center.
Regina was born December 7, 1931 in Stuart, Iowa to George and Dorothy Cline. She retired from Meredith Corporation where she had been employed for over 20 years.
Regina is survived by her children, Becky Stibbs, Ed McCoy, Jr. and Michelle McCoy; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Patty Davis, Kate Carson-Labuschagne, Rose Schumacher, Sue Cline, Juddie Lindley, Debbie Gibson and Sally Olander; three brothers, Bernard Cline, Billy Joe Cline and Joe Hoch; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward “Tex” McCoy; brothers, John and Jimmie Cline; and her sister, Teresa Parrott.
The family will greet friends Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the funeral service at 12 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Cumming, Iowa.

Our condolences to the family. Jeannie was such a nice person and here in Imogene, IA, we'll remember her for the partnership she and Tex had with her daughter Becky and husband John Stibbs in owning the Town and Country Tavern; for the Holiday Outlet Store she brought to Imogene every Christmas; and who can ever forget the revolving Timex watch case she had on display on the bar at the T&C!!!
