Cynthia Swenson

Cynthia Swenson, 64, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014. She was born September 22, 1949 to Richard and Mary Watkins in Des Moines, Iowa.
Cynthia enjoyed reading, solving word puzzles and antiques.

She is survived by her companion, Ron Nichols; her loving children, Kelly Tobey and Kirby Fetters; grandson, Jacob Tobey; sister, Stephanie Beck; and brother, Rick Watkins. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Matthew.

Memorial Gathering will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Private family urn burial will be held at Rising Sun Cemetery.

Family wishes to thank HCI Kavanagh House on 56th for all of their loving care and support given to Cynthia.
