Max Dale Sanford, Jr.

Max Dale Sanford, Jr., 56, passed away at his home June 24, 2014. No services are planned at this time.

Max was born November 4, 1957 in Des Moines to Max Sr. and Rita Kathryn (Sullivan) Sanford, the third of nine children. He worked for Kirby Company West as a repairman and in customer service. Max enjoyed fishing.

Max is survived by his sons, Max III and Dillon; companion, Cathy Bode; step-son, Bobbie; step-daughter, Carrie; siblings, Toni (Cameron) Golly, Vicki Sanford-Hiatt, Mark Sanford, Michael Sanford, Matthew Sanford, Martin Sanford, Monte Sanford and Michelle Sanford; father, Max Dale Sanford, Sr.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; many extended family members; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Sanford.
