Robert Dash, 66, passed away June 12, 2014 at HCI Care Services 56th.
Robert was born on March 15, 1948 to Carl and Margaret (Wilson) Dash in Des Moines, Iowa. He owned Robert Dash Trucking for 30 years and had logged over 3 million miles during his career. Robert was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed NASCAR, Jimmy Johnson was his favorite driver. He also loved to cook.
Robert is survived by his siblings, Marlyn Thompson, Annette Dash, Carlene (ShweLa) Win and Larry (Sunny) Dash; nephews, Jeff Thompson and Larry Dash Jr.; nieces, Kyi Kyi Win and Shwe Win Soliz; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Kevin Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Norwalk Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Bob drove for J&H for 10 years,
he was known in our office as The Dash...He delivered his loads
