Cecilia Nwankpa, 65, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Baxter Care Center in Baxter, Iowa. Cecilia was born in Owerri, Imo-State, Nigeria on October 24, 1948. She was a teacher.
She is survived by her children, Frank Nwankpa, Kinglsey Nwankpa, Kennedy Nwankpa and Emanuel Nwankpa; and her grandson, Xavier Nwankpa. Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her siblings.

Frankie- I am Nana's sister-in-law. I am sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Although I never met her, your own kindness, humor, and determination seem to be a testament to the kind of mother you had. I hope your mind is filled with happy memories during this sad time.

When haven't you been in our lives? Best man, brother, friend. Your Mother was a joy. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to know her. She treated us like family. She loved unconditionally. Her beautiful soul is free now. We will keep you and your entire family in our thoughts and prayers.
