Marjorie Jaques

Marjorie A. Jaques was born February 17, 1928 in Altoona, Iowa, the daughter of Ross and Mabel (Wallund) Jaques. She lived in Berwick, Iowa since 1935. She was employed as a clerical worker at Prairie Queen Foods for over 20 years. Marjorie was a member of the Berwick Congregational Church and Berwick Women’s Club.

Marjorie passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the age of 86. She is survived by her niece, Sharla Fredericksen; her nephew, Donald Jaques; her great-niece, Molly (Charles) Williams; and her great-great-nephew, Ping Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dennis Jaques; and her great-nephew, Christopher Fredericksen.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 14, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Berwick Cemetery in Berwick, Iowa.
