Karma Jean Stocker, 62, was born in Des Moines, Iowa on October 25, 1951. She passed away May 28, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Karma was employed by the State of Iowa, working at Workforce Development for more than 25 years. She was an avid Cubs fan who loved her cats and the color red. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting in her spare time.
Karma is survived by her daughter, Michelle (John) Mehalovich; grandchildren, Tylor, Connor, and Avory; step-daughter, Anneliese (Clint) Jansnen; step-grandchildren, Bianca, Mollie, and Emma; mother, Gloria McCauley; siblings, Ben (Carolyn) McCauley and Kellie (Tim) Lathrop; as well as her nieces and nephews, Kala (Derek), Kody, Kegan, Andrea (Cody), Jenna (Zach), Laura (Mike), Bryan, Cale, Bryson, Foster, and Royce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, and sister, Kristie.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) or the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Karma.

I am Clint's mom. I enjoyed seeing Karma at the family birthday parties and gatherings. I know she loved her kitties. We will donate to our local shelter in her name.
You have our deepest sympathies and our prayers. Clint and Annie loved her so much. She was a great influence on their lives and the granddaughters' as well. She will be sadly missed. God bless
