Service Details
Penelope Eileen Davis came into this world on February 21, 2013 and left us on Memorial Day, May 26, 2014 after a long and difficult fight with Neuroblastoma Cancer. During her short stay, Penelope inspired more people than most do in a lifetime.
Please help us celebrate Penelope’s life on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 801 West First Street in Grimes, Iowa.
Penelope will be dearly missed by her parents, Shannon and Ben Davis; her brothers, Chayse and Parker; her grandparents, Ann Preston, Matt Pirtle, and Sherrie and Brian Davis; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in honor of sweet Penelope. Condolences online may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

I instantly fell in love with Penelope when I came across your FB page as did my daughters who loved to watch her videos. I saw an angel on this earth when I looked at her. I looked forward every day to seeing her pictures and seeing her beautiful blue eyes and smile that put a smile on my face no matter what. Her strength and beauty will live on in all of the people she touched and inspired. Hugs and love to your family from mine.

I followed your daughter from day one and she was such a joy to follow because she shown me the meaning of living life when you can because you never know when God going to make you his little angel.... She really. Enjoy life and she did make a lot of people all round smile ....she will forever be in our hearts we love that girl maybe not as much as you guys do , but I got to say is May that little angel of God rest in peace....you will see each again .n I will keep on praying for you guys because you guys had a beautiful little girl that I have ever seen she was fighter and she did touch my heart......

When I came across Penelope's story, every time I logged on to Facebook I went straight to her page. I loved seeing her adorable face she would make my day. I know that she is with God and she was an angel on Earth that touched so many lives without even meeting them! I send my prayers to your whole family through this difficult time and I pray God sends you strength and peace. Your baby girl will always be watching over you. even though I never knew Penelope; and even though she had just been added to my Facebook page recently; I'm so deeply saddened to have just heard of her homegoing. She was a very beautiful little girl and will be deeply missed by all of her family as well as all of her friends. Penelope had been in my prayers since i first came across her story. She is beautiful and although i had never had the chance to meet her i looked forward to positive updates to her recovery. i now send her and her family all the love and my sympathy for the loss of this beautiful little girl.

Even though I never met Penelope except through pictures and her story, she stole my heart. Everyday I looked forward to seeing her many faces, she was amazing. She touched many people and many loved her.

Penelope was one of the sweetest, most inspirational children I have ever seen. I will miss those most expressive eyes. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Sweet girl you touched so many hearts in your short but beautiful life! You have inspired me and many others to be better people, and I have seen that pure good does exist. God DOES send angels to earth and you are one of them, but now you are flying high with the other angels. I never knew you personally but your passing has brought me to tears; I want to express my sincere condolences to Shannon, Ben, Chayse, Parker and the rest of the family. Penelope was a beautiful soul. She touched so many in her short time she was here. I will never forget her beautiful smile or her curiosity, how she always would check out door ways. She was a precious girl who will now watch over you and your family until you meet again.
