James Rockey Riness

James Rockey Riness, 61, was born January 19, 1953 in Sarasota, Florida, the son of Virgil and Stella (Kelley) Riness. He passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at his home.

Rockey loved fishing, cookouts and gardening his tomato plants, but above all else he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Rockey is survived by his wife, Diane Grover; daughters, Tammy Grover and Jolene (Booker) Jones; grandchildren, Keyonah Jones, Keyon Miller and Elijah Jones; niece, Amanda Thompson; nephew, Dustin Thompson; brother, Eddie Johnson; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and other loving family.

Cremation has occurred and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Rockey.
