Martha Patterson

Martha M. (Bowman) Patterson died August 23rd 2007 at her home in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens.Burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery following the services. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Martha was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She retired from Western International where she worked for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Bobbie (Byron) Christo of Johnston, Iowa; sons Michael (Carole) Parr of Magnolia, Texas and Jack Parr (Karen Welch) Eau Claire, Wisconsin; 16 grandchildren, 10 Great grandchildren; Brother Jim Bowman; Sisters Jane Thomas Velma Davis, Thelma Moore, Mary Blile also very dear to her heart is the Hoa and Ninh Van Luu Families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Patterson, father, mother, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and her beloved cat of 23 years, Jiggs.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice or The Animal Rescue League.
