Khamphanh Boutdara, 74, was born March 2, 1940, in Ban Hom, Laos, the son of Tipou and Thit Boutdara. He passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, at Mercy Hospice-Johnson.
Mr. Boutdara immigrated to America in July 1987 and worked as a Mechanical Technician at MTE until his retirement in 2008.
Khamphanh is survived by his three children, Souphaphone Boutdara-Khounlo (Chris), Ley Boutdara, and Lan (Nina) Boutdara; grandchildren, Serenity Souriyatai Khounlo, Alasandria Soukunya Khounlo, Peyton Sananthong Khounlo and Eli Boutdara; and a host of other family and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. A burial of cremated remains will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014 at Glendale Cemetery.

Dad,
I never got a chance to know you, but the things I learned about you were inspiring. You fought through many hardships. You carried us through miles and miles of hard land, excaping persecution. For that I owe you forever. We love you Dad. We cherish you for eternity.
