Russell "Russ" H. Overton

Russ Overton, 57, was born March 4, 1957, in Des Moines, Iowa. He passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2014, at his home in Des Moines.

Russ was previously a Supervisor for Venter Spooner Construction where he had worked for 12 years. He had a great love for animals, having cats, dogs, and turtles as pets. He enjoyed traveling in his 40’ motor home, antiques, gardening, and motorcycles. Russ spent half of the year in San Antonio, Texas, where he made many lifelong friends.

Russell is survived by his wife, Carol, and his nephew, David (Kris) Overton. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David, and sister, Carol.
