Vernita Dilley

Vernita Dilley, 82, died peacefully at her home Wednesday, August 22, 2007 of congestive heart failure. Per her wishes, no memorial services are planned as she donated her body to Des Moines University.
Vernita is survived by her son, Johnny McMahon; sister-in-law, Alma Mesecher; nieces, Shirley Kittle, Mary Wright and Eloise Coen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Dilley; sisters, Verda Martin, Zalene Freberg and Audrey Rhoads; brothers, Thearl Mesecher and Atlee “Duke” Mesecher.
